OUR STORY

Thirsty Fin began with a simple idea: great design should travel wherever you do. Our roots trace back to Classic Consoles, where founder Jeff Will combined his expertise as an upholsterer with a passion for classic cars to create beautifully crafted, highly functional consoles and cup holders. What started as a custom solution for Jeff’s early model Ford Mustang quickly became a respected brand known for quality, durability, and American-made craftsmanship. Over the years, Classic Consoles earned a loyal following by designing products that fit seamlessly into the environments people care about most—vehicles built for enjoyment, nostalgia, and adventure.

As customers began spending more time on the water, a familiar problem surfaced: boats lacked the same thoughtful, well-crafted drink solutions found in premium vehicles. The environments were different, but the need was the same—secure, good-looking cup holders that didn’t require permanent installation or compromise the vessel.

That realization led to Thirsty Fin. Built on the same principles that defined Classic Consoles, Thirsty Fin was created specifically for water vessels, boats, and yachts. Every detail is engineered for life on the water—from secure, cushion-mounted design to materials chosen for durability on the water and in the sun. The result is a refined solution adding fun and practicilty to the boating experience.

Thirsty Fin is crafted by the same skilled team behind Classic Consoles—a group of experienced designers, builders, and upholsterers based in Georgia who have spent decades perfecting functional, beautifully made products.

At Classic Consoles, our team produces over 19,000 custom consoles and cup holders each year, blending modern manufacturing technology with time-honored, hand-crafted upholstery techniques. That depth of experience carries directly into every Thirsty Fin product.

Our designers and craftspeple understand how form and function must work together in real environments. Precision-cut components are paired with carefully stitched, upholstered finishes to create cup holders that feel secure and intentional.
