Description

Chevrolet Corvair HumpHugger, 1960-1964

The Chevy Corvair HumpHugger resides between the front factory seats on the transmission tunnel (the “Hump”). It uses a contoured bottom in addition to velcro strips to provide increased stability.

The convenient features built into this console will bring a whole new style and feeling when cruising in your classic Corvair. Standard features include a padded armrest, designed for maximum support and comfort. Combined with an under-lid storage compartment and two drink holders. Because of the limited space between the Corvairs seats, this console is slimmer than our traditional HumpHuggers. As a result, the drink holders sit in line just in front of the armrest. You have the option to choose two large drink holders or upgrade to two Mega drink holders.

Two versions are available depending upon which transmission you have, standard or Powerglide. The standard version includes a shifter boot.

Best of all, there are no tools necessary for installation. As a result, no modifications or permanent changes to your interior. Everything remains in its original condition. In no time, you’ll be ready to cruise and enjoy your favorite beverage without the worry of spilling your favorite drink all over your interior.

We’re confident you will appreciate this professionally upholstered console combined with high-quality automotive-grade vinyl. Equally important is our large selection of standard color options that complement original and aftermarket interiors.

Are you going to a car show? No problem. In a matter of seconds, you can remove the Plug-N-Chug and reinstall your ashtray for that original factory look. Afterward, don’t forget to put the drink holder back in before leaving the car show!
